SiteCrafters Terms & Conditions
1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern all services provided by Joseph Seripe t/a SiteCrafters (Sole propriertoship) to the client (“you”). By engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. Proposals and Quotations
2.1. Proposals are for discussion and do not constitute a binding agreement.
2.2. Quotations set out the project scope, deliverables, anfees. Acceptance of a quotation, whether in writing or by payment of a deposit, constitutes acceptance of these Terms.
3. Payment Terms
3.1. A not refundable deposit of 50% of the quoted fee is required before work begins.
The balance is payable upon completion and before the website is launched or delivered.
3.2. Additional services not included in the original scope will be billed separately.
4. Scope of Work and Revisions.
4.1. The scope of work is defined in the quotation.
4.2. Two (2) rounds of revisions are included. Additional revisions will be charged at our hourly rate.
4.3. Any requests outside the agreed scope requires a new quotation.
5. Client Responsibilities.
5.1. You must supply all required content (text, images, logos, etc.) within agreed timelines.
5.2. Delays in providing content will extend project timelines.
5.3. You are responsible for ensuring that all content you provide is lawful and does not infringe third-party rights.
6. Ownership and Intellectual Property
6.1. All work remains the property of SiteCrafters until full payment is received.
6.2. Upon full payment, ownership of the final website design is transferred to you, excluding third-party software, plugins, and licenses which remain under their respective terms.
7. Warranties and Limitation of Liability
7.1. We will deliver a functional website according to the agreed scope.
7.2. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, compatibility with all future browsers, SEO rankings, or third-party updates.
7.3. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount paid for the services.
8. Termination and Refunds
8.1. Deposits are non-refundable.
8.2. If you terminate a project after work has begun, you remain liable for work completed to date.
If we terminate for reasons beyond our control, we will refund any unearned portion of fees.
9. Maintenance and Support
9.1. Ongoing maintenance and support are not included unless specified in writing.
9.2. Maintenance packages can be purchased separately.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of South Africa. Any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
